watermelon rêverie

The joy of summer is like my beloved watermelon tourmaline...
On this summer day, Caprice and petite Caprice came back to the sprouting lotus pond in the campus, it became cosy with shades of greens and began to bloom a first shoot this year...
the reflection of the 'lotus pink' tinting Caprice' face, as if blush becoming her... thanks to her oily face! But i guess i should apply her some water mask to reduce the oil... (Caprice was risking her dolly life in these few photos)
They can be lotus fairies... They put on this floral lolita dress with coordination of green and mauve pink...

small PJ party
A rainy evening, Caprice and Constance invited Leopoldine to their pyjama party, while i went to the opera (finally given up, sorry)...
Pyjama party (or slumber party) is held and considered much fun among children, for a sleepover, inviting guests to stay overnight at one's house. Kids are delighted to dress themselves in fancy pyjamas, stay up late, and talk and play until they fall asleep. Invited children often bring along their own pillows and other bedtime paraphernalia (teddy bear, doll...). They may play pillow fight, build blanket forts, or play board games, mastermind, monopoly..., and of coz also video games and watch movies. Some other ideas are playing tarot, playing the piano or other instruments together., or baking cakes together.. (these photo story activites will be continued next time...)

saint patrick's day
Today is Saint Patrick's Day, it is a festival (very Anglo-saxon) of nature symbolised by the green colour and the shamrock (3-leaf clover)
Caprice inspects nature amidst the city, to check out any endangerment to nature, and at the same time admiring the chasmal beauty...
A breeze steals into the air, hundreds (not exaggerating) of yellow leaves falling... what a nice treat to the eyes, to the ears and to the mind
She meets the princess Léopoldine in the wood! Both of them got green eyes. Caprice's eyes are moss green and Léopoldine got emerald eyes.
Caprice is wearing the Apple Sweet Angel outfit by CWC takara (luckily I found it on sale in a shop...its price was so unreasonably marked up). Leopoldine is wearing a green monogramme pattern dress by bsworkshop. They wear momolita preta boots.

cotton tree
Cotton tree is one of the most beautiful flowering deciduous trees in Hong Kong, commonly seen in gardens and along roadsides. The orange to red fleshy bell shaped flowers bloom in the azalea season in March/April. Then fall the cotton balls, like little clouds from the sky. The dried flowers are used for making the famous Ng-Fa (Five flowers) tea to reduce inflammation. The flowers often attract Cockatoos on Hong Kong Island. (info from wwf hk)

chocolate enchanted afternoon
a connoisseur of chocolates... and whose cookery has cordon bleu standard, stanza is preparing today a sachertorte
she uses belgian chocolate as ingredient, see the huge godiva cupboard, with signature of Godiva's master chocolatier Jean-Claude Sibret
then she starts to make a fondue à la suisse
little stanza cheering at the gourmet chocolate meal, they are going to invite their Milk sisters

dining with mozart
i find Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) got a charming name Amadeus which i noted when small in my suzuki violin school volumes. The preoccupation with death in his biography story and the infamous scandal of jealousy of his rival in the film add all the more gothic elements to his music as in requiem or the sinister notes here and there eg out of the clarinets...
when visited years ago his hometown Salzburg, his geburtshaus, being a student, i had never the luxury of tasting at the Viennesse styled kaffeehaus...
now I frequent from time to time mozart stub'n in the tranquil corner at Glenealy
unrivaled at all to french wines but adding to the best ambience with a glass of Solitaire 2000 - Weingut Feiler – Artinger, Rust-Cuvee made from Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; close ruby, deep blueberry nose and a note of vanilla.
i like plain food like a simple Frankfurter Wuerstchen mit Sauerkraut und Kartoffelpuree
